There’s a new name bubbling up under the Evolution Group umbrella, and it’s playing its cards close to the chest. Sneaky Slots first appeared in mid-2025 with little more than a cheeky line on its website: “Cooking a new studio – launching very soon.” That’s not much to go on, but the studio has already pulled off a coup. Just weeks after surfacing, Sneaky announced a licensing deal with Nolimit City, giving it the keys to the entire suite of xMechanics — xNudge, xWays, xBomb, and the rest of the chaos players know from titles like San Quentin and Fire in the Hole. Not a bad way to skip the queue.
An Unusual Debut
Most new studios spend years trying to find their identity. Sneaky didn’t bother. A cryptic LinkedIn post went up in early August, the Nolimit City partnership landed on the 18th, and suddenly the new kid had everyone’s attention.
The website itself is hosted on Evolution’s Playin platform — the same place you’ll find NetEnt, Red Tiger, BTG, and Nolimit City. The footer even carries Evolution Gaming Malta’s licensing. Evolution hasn’t said the words out loud, but the breadcrumbs are impossible to miss. As one Nolimit rep put it when asked about Sneaky: “Low-key for now… that’s the plan. Take over the world.”
First Games: Nip Tuck Leads, Freak Show Follows
Sneaky’s debut title will be Nip Tuck, scheduled for September 24, 2025, according to BigWinBoard. A few weeks later, the studio will roll out Freak Show Revelation, listed for October 30, 2025.
Release dates in iGaming aren’t set in stone, but the order is clear: Nip Tuck opens the Sneaky run, and Freak Show will follow as the sophomore act.
Where It Fits in Evolution’s Portfolio
So why launch a new studio at all? Evolution already has Nolimit for the edgy stuff, like Brute Force, NetEnt and Red Tiger for the mainstream with slots like Gonzo's Quest 2, and BTG with its mechanics-first approach, most recently the TopCards series. The slots community sees Sneaky in one of two roles:
- Toning down Nolimit’s extremes and packaging those mechanics into more approachable themes.
- Doubling down — a second outlet for volatility and provocation, giving Evolution two horses in the “cult slot” race.
Either way, the strategy is familiar: keep the brands distinct, let them fight for their audience, and widen Evolution’s net in the process.
Final Word
At this point, Sneaky Slots is little more than a teaser site, a licensing deal, and two–three titles pencilled in for the autumn. But with Evolution’s backing and Nolimit’s mechanics under licence, it already has what most new studios can only dream of: instant distribution, proven tools, and a built-in audience waiting to see what it does with them.
If Nip Tuck lands, Sneaky won’t stay sneaky for long.
