CasinoMax – Anjouan-licensed RTG casino, USD/CAD (Tested by FreeExtraChips)
CasinoMax has been operating since 2017 under Entertainment Software Group N.V., and it is a single-ecosystem casino by design: a compact RealTime Gaming catalogue, rounded out with Betsoft and a Visionary iGaming live floor, instead of the multi-studio aggregation most large sites run. It takes both card and crypto play, settles accounts in USD and CAD, and has a payment record long enough to take seriously. It pays, and has for years. What its structure scores once you look past that record is the question this review turns on.

A small shelf, stocked from one supplier
The library is among the smallest in its class, and it is built that way on purpose. Around 260 titles run almost entirely on RealTime Gaming, with Betsoft adding a 3D slot range and Visionary iGaming supplying the live tables — one supplier ecosystem, not the dozens of studios you would find across the broader field of multi-aggregator casinos. The progressive section is the genuine draw, with a combined pool past $3.4M. RTG's table and video-poker suites round out the floor, and demo play is available instantly, without a download or an account, so the house style is easy to sample before funding. Breadth is not what this casino sells; depth in a single catalogue is.
Deposits, withdrawals, verification
Deposits are straightforward: cards, e-wallets where available, bank wire and crypto, with Bitcoin the primary coin and the lowest minimum at around $10 against $25–35 in fiat. Accounts settle in USD or CAD. Withdrawals are where the operator turns restrictive. The minimum cashout is $200, high enough to strand a small winner below the threshold, and weekly withdrawals are capped at $4,000, with anything above paid out in further weekly instalments until the balance clears.
On speed the operator is fast where it counts: crypto payouts land in roughly an hour after approval, the review itself runs inside about three business days, and wire or cheque add five to seven days. One mechanic to plan around is the 48-hour reversal window — a pending withdrawal can be pulled back into the balance for two days after the request, which quietly pressures players into re-staking money they had already decided to take out. KYC is standard for the licence: photo ID, copies of any cards used, and a proof of address from the last three months, with at least one deposit required to complete the process.
Where the operator meets the player
Support is a relative strength. A 24/7 live-chat line answered in around four minutes in testing, backed by email and, uncommonly for this licence tier, a telephone line. The operator also has a visible habit of responding to public complaints, which counts for something at an offshore brand.
On mobile there is no native app. Play runs through a responsive browser with the full catalogue intact, including the live tables, and a legacy downloadable desktop client remains available for players who prefer it. There is no practical feature gap between the phone browser and the desktop site.
Is this casino worth signing up at?
The product is competent and the payouts are real; the decision is about how much the structure should let you put in one place.
MAKES SENSE IF
- You're comfortable inside a single-studio RTG catalogue and don't need breadth
- You bank mainly in crypto and keep cashouts simple
- You keep stakes modest and withdraw in steady amounts
LESS GOOD IF
- You want a large multi-studio library
- You expect to build and withdraw a big balance quickly
- You want the protection of a top-tier regulator behind your funds
On balance, it suits a disciplined, low-to-mid-stakes player and few others.
What the structure scores
The licence sets the frame. CasinoMax moved from a Curaçao licence to the Government of Anjouan (No. ALSI-192407055-FI3), a newer offshore framework with limited regulatory case law behind it. That structural footing is what our own safety read keys on: FXShield puts the casino at 32 of 100, High risk, on a confidence grade of B. The figure is the baseline profile itself rather than the residue of any incident — there are no negative events dragging it down, and a staff withdrawal test, if anything, logged in the operator's favour. Good conduct in a single test does not lift a structural score; the two measure different things. For the method, here is how the FXShield safety index is calculated.
The welcome package is generous on paper and heavy underneath. It runs 325% across the first three deposits, up to $3,250 on each, but only on slots, keno and scratch cards, with 40x wagering applied to deposit and bonus together — a meaningfully steeper requirement than the 40x-on-bonus structures it superficially resembles. Set that against a $200 minimum withdrawal and the shape of the offer becomes clear: clearing the wagering is one hurdle, and reaching a balance worth cashing out is another. Sources also split on whether a 10x cap limits welcome winnings; that single clause decides how much of a good run survives, so confirm it in the live terms before opting in.
One last note for anyone holding accounts across the group: CasinoMax runs on the same operator and platform as its sibling brands, so check that limits or verification are not shared if you do. Five brands, one backend.
Pros and cons
PROS
- Nine years of documented payouts to its core player base
- Telephone support alongside 24/7 live chat — uncommon at this licence tier
- Sizeable progressive jackpot pool, past $3.4M combined
- Comp points redeemable for real cash, not only bonus credit
- Demo play available instantly, with no download or account required
CONS
- 48-hour reversal window lets pending withdrawals be pulled back into the balance
- Compact ~260-title library tied to a single supplier ecosystem
- Accounts settle only in USD or CAD, and the site and support run in one language
- No native app — a responsive site and a legacy desktop client only
- E-wallet support is inconsistent in practice, leaving cards and crypto as the reliable routes
FAQ — CasinoMax review
What licence does CasinoMax hold, and who can register?
CasinoMax operates under a Government of Anjouan licence (No. ALSI-192407055-FI3), an offshore framework, which means any dispute is handled through the operator and that framework rather than a strict national regulator. Registration is open to new players from the operator's accepted regions; eligibility is set by jurisdiction and can change at the operator's discretion, so check the current terms before signing up.
How does the welcome bonus work?
The welcome offer is a 325% match spread over your first three deposits, up to $3,250 on each, playable on slots, keno and scratch cards, with 40x wagering on the combined deposit and bonus. One detail to verify live: sources disagree on whether a 10x cap limits how much of your winnings you can withdraw from the bonus, and that clause materially changes the value of the offer.
What happens if I win more than the weekly withdrawal limit?
Withdrawals are processed up to a weekly ceiling, and anything above it is paid out in further weekly instalments until the balance clears. Progressive jackpot wins are the exception and fall outside that schedule, so a large non-jackpot win can take several cycles to reach you in full.
What documents does KYC require?
Verification asks for a government photo ID, copies of any cards used (showing only the first six and last four digits), and a proof of address from the last three months. At least one deposit is needed to complete the process, and document review typically takes around two business days.
Which payment methods and currencies are supported?
Deposits and withdrawals run on cards, cryptocurrency (Bitcoin is the primary coin) and bank wire, with e-wallet availability varying by account. All balances are held in USD or CAD, so funding in another currency may incur conversion costs.
Is there a CasinoMax mobile app?
There is no dedicated app. The full game library, including the live tables, runs in a mobile browser, and a legacy downloadable desktop client is also available for players who prefer one. For most players the responsive site covers everything an app would.
What the test showed
The test ran through to a completed withdrawal, the strongest outcome a check can reach. The cashout cleared the same day, with no friction at signup, deposit, verification or payout — an order that matters here, since a single clean transaction is a snapshot of conduct, not a measure of the structural profile around it.
The short version
Treat as a secondary operator. The documented payout history is real, but everything around it rewards cashing out steadily, not letting a balance grow.

Really impressed by this new casino. Fast payouts and excellent support. Just 4 stars (not five) because of the lack of deposit methods.
IMHO a casino you can trust. Recommended.
Well. I want to be the first to review this new casino by having already deposited and played in it the past few weeks. At first I thought it was the usual RTG casino. I was wrong. In fact it is but I can say serenely that I found myself so good to keep playing in the next future. I also had the opportunity to pick up some winnings and the time for withdrawal was a bit extraordinary: in less than one our! The support is excellent and pleasant.
A side note: they just have to propose more deposit/withdrawal options, including Bitcoin.
