Yggdrasil Gaming, a 2013-established games studio and iGaming software developer, has come up quite frequently on our blog for the past weeks, like the jackpots and the Danish market. And now they’ve announced that their games are going to be featured on Danske Spil and bwin.dk via the GVC platform as soon as Q1 2018.

Following recent, November deal with the Jackpotjoy Group, which will get them on Danish sites like Vera&John and InterCasino, the provider saw a significant interest in their content and decided that it won’t stop there. And what’s a better move than to go live with two of Denmark’s most popular iGaming brands – Danske Spil and bwin.dk – via their B2B partner GVC Holdings.

As of now, we don’t know for sure if they will feature the entire portfolio of slots, but Yggdrasil has reassured that among the first locally-licensed games to launch will be the recent blockbuster titles like Vikings Go Berzerk. Their latest release, the 20-line Orient Express with Walking Wilds, Win Multipliers, Wild Reels and Random Wilds, may be among them as well.

Together with their games, the operator will also have access to their full suite of in-game promotional tools called BOOST, and the social sharing one called BRAG. This will allow for exclusive Yggdrasil campaigns like tournaments, cash races, missions and more, such as the €500,000 Christmas Calendar campaign.

With the new deal, Yggdrasil will join other game providers currently available at the casinos, like NetEnt, Play’n GO, Thunderkick, ELK Studios, SG Interactive and Microgaming. Judging by their popularity, they are likely to quickly prove to be a success among Danish players as well.

Here’s what GVC Chief Product Officer Liron Snir, had to say: “Yggdrasil games are already enjoyed by players across the Nordics and beyond, so it is fantastic to bring them to our customer’s in Denmark’s regulated market.”

“Denmark is an extremely competitive market, so Yggdrasil’s high-quality titles and industry-first promotional tools will give both our brands and our B2B partners a powerful edge.”

Danske Licens Spil Head of Product Søren Schneider also expressed his confidence: “Danske Spil is always looking to better serve our player base, and we are certain that Yggdrasil games will prove extremely popular. Yggdrasil is a well-respected name within gaming, and it is a pleasure to work alongside them to strengthen the Danske Spil offering.”

So, if any Danish players are reading this, who are eager to play Yggdrasil slots on legitimate sites, there will soon be plenty of casinos to choose from. You can also see all Yggdrasil casinos right here
