Yggdrasil, one of the fastest-growing iGaming developers, has shaken hands with the fifth game developer for the Yggdrasil Game Server (YGS) Masters programme, 4ThePlayer.com. That marks the second deal for this year, with even more to come in the coming months as reported by the CEO earlier this month.
With an aim to create a collaborative publishing model and curating a much larger, global content roadmap, the YGS Masters initiative now consists of five independent studios that will develop and distribute gaming content on Yggdrasil’s platform, exclusively. This includes Rabcat, Northern Lights, Fantasma Games, Avatar UX, and now also the UK-based 4ThePlayer.com.
What makes this developer that much special is that it’s headed by Andrew Porter, former Casino Content Director at Playtech, and Ash Gaming founder Chris Ash, who have a combined experience of more than 40 years. Stuart McCarthy, Head of Studio Partnerships at Yggdrasil, assured that by saying: “The industry experience that the 4ThePlayer management team has is invaluable and, with a focus on quality over quantity, we are confident the games they create will be highly appreciated by operators and players alike.”
While 4ThePlayer.com is yet to announce their first game on the ambitious platform, Yggdrasil has gone to release a new game of their own, called Champions of Rome. The video slot features bonuses like Added Wilds, which can make up to x4 Wild symbols appear on the screen at random – and two different Free Spins modes, which you get to choose yourself based on the risk level. There you’ll find more Wild features and win multipliers, together with second-chance rounds.
The Champions of Rome slot has an RTP of 96.% and is available for play for free or real money at our featured Yggdrasil casinos since February 21. See all operators with this game, ranked and rated by players, as well as more info on the games and jackpots on our software casino page.
Last but not least, stay tuned for the first collaborative title with the Hong Kong-based Avatar UX, which is expected to come out in the coming weeks. For more info on this new YGS Masters member, refer to our detailed report here.
