Casinos supporting Thai Bhat Currency

The Thailand currency known as the Baht (symbol THB) is one of the top 10 currencies distributed across the world. The Baht is regulated through the Bank of Thailand and is separated into divisions of 100 known as satang. Both coins and banknotes are utilized as forms of currency.

Like other older currencies, the Thai Baht originated as a measurement of poundage within the silver standard. Creating valued coins continued in this manner until the end of the 19th century when a member of the Thai royalty established the decimal system where one Baht equalled 100 satang. The Baht was linked to U.S. dollar via the silver standard for decades. The only time it didn't was during World War II. In that period of time the Baht valued itself against the Japanese Yen.

As of this writing, one Thai Baht is equal to 31 cents of a U.S. Dollar. The exchange rate has remained fairly steady since the early 2010s, with a spike of five additional cents in 2012 and 2013.
