Casinos supporting Swedish Krona Currency

Swedish Krona is the currency of Sweden and it has been that way starting with 1873. This is one of the most widely traded currency in the world, as it reaches top 11.

The Swedish Krona is divided into 100 ore, but the interesting thing is that the coins have been discontinued a few years ago, so even though the prices can be set in ore, there are no coins to be used and thus they are usually rounded to that the sum is paid in bank notes.

Moreover, the Swedish Krona replaced the riksdaler at par and this was basically a result of the Scandinavian monetary union that was applied in 1873, and which latest up until WWI. There are bank notes ranging from the 20 up until the 1,000 kronor.

An interesting thing is that the Norwegian 20 kroner was pretty much with the same shape as the Syrian 10 pound coin, and this was used to trick machines.

On top of that, the Swedish Krona exchange rate was dependent on the monetary policy used by Sweden. This has changed drastically with the introduction of Euro in many portions of Europe, but it’s also dependent on the overall economy of the region. Also, in English the Swedish Krona is known and used as the Swedish Crown, mainly because Krona means crown.
