Playtech ONE Launches Age of the Gods Live Roulette

It’s been less than a week that we reported on Playtech’s successful completion of a full relocation to their world’s biggest live casino studio in Riga, Latvia. And now they are pleased to announce one of their many new innovative branded games streamed from those grounds on the Playtech ONE platform, called Age of the Gods Live Roulette.

Players familiar with the studio’s new progressive jackpot slot series launched about a year ago to replace the older generation of Marvel slots, won’t be much surprised that Playtech’s decided to push the brand even more. Parallels can be drawn with Novomatic's Extreme Live Gaming branded games like Book of Ra Roulette. Better yet, it’s the first Live Casino Playtech ONE experience that features jackpot functionality, because the roulette game is linked to a pioneering 4-tier progressive jackpot.

Made to work on desktop and mobile, roulette players can win on the right number and combination of numbers or colour as usual, as well as one of the prize pools that are triggered completely at random. Once entering the jackpot game, they’ll need to pick and match coins to win the corresponding prize.

What makes the branded roulette launch even more attractive, even for players who are not table game fans as such, is that every bet made on the game contributes a percentage towards the four-tier progressive Age of the Gods Mystery Jackpot. In the end, this makes it bigger and more attractive for all.

In the report, Playtech also hinted towards additional casino rewards like rewarding players in real-time using both Free Spins in a casino and the Live Casino free spins equivalent of Golden Coins.

The Age of the Gods Live Roulette works like a normal roulette, although this time with the ancient Greek Gods theme that’s further accentuated with a state-of-the-art 26-metre custom-built video wall behind the dealer. These can show real-time information on jackpot winners and promotions across both Casino and Live.

That said, here’s what Shimon Akad, COO at Playtech, said: “Age of the Gods has been a phenomenal success in casinos across the industry and continues to drive incredible growth for Playtech and our valued partners.”

“The innovative and market-first launch of our new Age of the Gods Live Roulette linked to a four-tier progressive jackpot that offers massive cash prizes, will significantly increase the cross-sell of the product for our licensees across both channels and enhance the gaming experience for players.”

“Playtech has again demonstrated its determination to lead the Live Casino market through innovation and by working side-by-side with our leading licensees. And yes, there is much more to come!” Akad added.

That in mind, you can already find the game at select Playtech casinos like bet365 and Betfair, with possibly many more to follow soon. And be sure to let us know how you like it in the comments as well.
