Playtech Launches First-of-a-Kind Live Cashback Blackjack

Playtech has launched an exclusive new scalable Live Blackjack variant, Cashback Blackjack Live, where players can choose to cash out their main bet before the end of each round. The cashback amount is calculated based on the cards on the table and may change for each action round. The new live casino is available exclusively with Stoiximan/Betano, the leading Greek operator.

Based on the popular RNG Blackjack, the Cashback variant also plays with eight decks and an unlimited number of players, so only one hand is dealt for all players. In addition to the main bet, which ranges between €1 and €2,500, the live blackjack has six different side bets which can also be found in Playtech Live All bets Blackjack. These are 21+3, Dealer Pair, Lucky Lucky, Player Pair, Top 3 and Buster Blackjack, which also pays the most at 2,000:1. Keep in mind that Cashback only applies to the main bet, with side bets resolved and paid out separately.

In the action rounds, players get to choose between Cashback, Hit, Stand, Double or Split. During Split, the cashback will be available for both hands. During Double, the cashback will not be offered. Also in this game, Insurance pays 2 to 1, Blackjack pays 3 to 2, and the dealer must draw to 16 and stand on all 17’s.

Similar types of live table games with early payout and surrender options have been made by developers like Ezugi and Visionary iGaming in the past, but the Cashback Blackjack is unique in many ways and unlike anything we've seen so far. Here’s to hoping that Playtech will make it available with other operators soon, something which they also have plans with Unlimited Blackjack, Quantum Blackjack, All bets Blackjack and the recent Majority Rules Speed Blackjack.
