Evolution’s New Live Lucky Wheel and Progressive Jackpot in Live Caribbean Stud Poker
At the recently concluded International Casino Exhibition (ICE) in London, innovation was on full display by a number of the world's top iGaming software developers. Not to be outdone by anyone at the conference, Evolution introduced its new Evolution — Live Lucky Wheel.
Using similar technology to that which is used for live dealer Roulette, this new live gaming technology allows players to enjoy the experience of watching the dealer spin a large themed "wheel of fortune" device, which was developed exclusively for Evolution by TCSJOHNHUXLEY.
As part of its presentation at ICE, Evolution Gaming premiered the first game in what is expected to be a series of exciting Live Lucky Wheel games with various themes. "Dream Catcher" is a massive and incredibly exciting vertical wheel with gaming segments that include silver and gold 2x and 7x multipliers. As players place their bets on positions related to the wheel numbers (1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 40), they will have the ability to interact with the dealer. Note: the numbers on the wheel correspond to the odds being offered on those specific segments.
When addressing failed attempts to introduce the lucky wheel concept in the past, Evolution's Chief Product President Haushalter explained the company had to overcome player restrictive gambling issues "by adding the 2x and 7x multipliers that will hit fairly frequently, we brought the house advantage in line with other online slots and made it incredibly exciting. So now we have a real tool for our partners to cross-sell to slot and other non-table game players."
On top of that, the leading live casino supplier has also made their exclusive Live Caribbean Stud Poker game even better by adding a Progressive Jackpot. Created in partnership with Games Marketing in 2015, the grand prize, that is seeded at €50,000, is now up for grabs with a Royal Flush. But even if you’re not that lucky, there’s still what they call a second level of fixed jackpot prizes, for wins starting with Three of a Kind up to Straight Flush, which pays €2,500.
Todd Haushalter, Chief Product Officer at Evolution, said: “We are extremely excited by the potential of this first ever Jackpot for Caribbean Stud Poker. Players are attracted to big money prizes — and the main Progressive Jackpot has the potential to reach millions. Just as importantly, players like to know they stand to win other prizes while going for ‘the big one’.”
As some may know, the game features Evolution’s new and improved User Interface (UI), for gaming on desktops and mobiles. Unlike the wheel game, their Live Caribbean Stud Poker is already live at many of their licensees, so you can give it a go right now.
