Evolution's 2024 Lineup – Exciting Games and Breakthrough Products

Evolution Group has just announced their roadmap for 2024 in the form of a video. Todd Haushalter, Evolution’s Chief Product Officer, gave a tour of all the new and innovative products they’ve been working on, many of which are unheard of in the live casino and iGaming industry as a whole. Let’s take a closer look at a few of them to be excited about as a player.

New Announcements

In this YouTube video, Todd mentioned the goal to release about 100 new games across the group’s brands, including NetEnt, Red Tiger, Nolimit City and Big Time Gaming. He refrained from mentioning the exact games – something which they did earlier – and instead gave a sneak peek into new tools and features for casino operators, together with a preview of Evolution’s most anticipated new live games for this year. Here are the ones that stood out the most.

Spin Gifts – New Slots Bonusing Tool

As part of Evolution’s effort to enhance Operational Support System (OSS) tools, Todd announced Spin Gifts. This bonusing feature is designed to work within slots, including existing releases like Finn and the Candy Spin. Players who find games with this add-on will be able to trigger a Spin Gifts bonus. It’s a simple and quick wheel of fortune game with win multipliers on each wheel sector. The number that the arrow stops on will be multiplied by the total bet and awarded to the player at the company’s expense. It’s unclear when this tool will be available but it’s likely to be reserved only to participating operators. It’ll be interesting to see if anything else about the game will change as a result, but from what it seems, it’s a means to differentiate casinos and offer added value for money for their customers.

Livespins – New Way to Play Slots

One of the most important milestones for the group in recent months, Todd claims, is the acquisition of Livespins. This platform or software, if you wish, lets players not only watch their favourite streamers but also participate in games and become part of the experience, through both wins and losses. Balloon Race Live – Fourth Generation Slot with Live Bonus

Evolution is very excited about the release of their fourth generation of slots in the form of a new live game called Balloon Race. It follows a similar format to Crazy Coin Flip and Crazy Pachinko, which came out not long ago, but is wildly different visually. It’ll come with the Xxxtreme-bet enhanced slot game and a presenter in the base game. The main feature is the Balloon Race bonus which has a previously-seen top-up or qualification phase, followed by a live lotto-type bonus that will send hot-air balloons up in the sky towards win multipliers of different sizes. Todd says they’ve leaned more towards traditional slot players with this release, hoping to attract a new audience to their live casino games. Dream Creator – Build Slots from Scratch

Dream Creator is a new tool in Evolution’s OSS toolbox, aimed at operators who wish to create their own branded slots without going through months of bureaucracy and certification. Casinos will be able to choose from a set of predefined parameters, like the slot scene, bonuses, theme, then create a name for their game and have it launched in a few weeks’ time. Let’s wait and see what comes out of this high-volume production track, although we wouldn't hold our breath with this one.

Live Games with Avatar Dealers

This one’s for all anime fans out there: Evolution will be launching a new series of games with avatars or animated characters as dealers. Imagine playing against a real live dealer, dealing real cards, but with a virtual character overlay. It’s a simple and fun concept, but one that has to take into account dealer changes, card shuffling personnel, occasional supervisor visits, hand tracking, etc., Todd says. We have a feeling it’s going to take off not only in Asia but in other parts of the world sooner or later too.
