NETWORK INVESTIGATION

The Saphirix rotation — three casinos change operator in a day, by a playbook we already had on file

Most operator changes in this industry surface months after the fact, through a stale footer or a third-party review that suddenly disagrees with the terms page. This one we watched happen. On 16 October 2026, within a single day, a regulator's certificate got shorter and three casino footers got new text: KatsuBet, Mirax and 7Bit left the Curaçao licence of Scores55 Tech B.V. and declared a new operating company — Saphirix Solutions SRL, a Costa Rica entity nobody had heard of before that morning.

Except that, in a structural sense, we had. Saphirix is the third company in our files to run the same migration playbook, down to the corporate registry series and the licensing authority. Nothing in this piece is a warning — no brand involved carries harm findings around this move, and the rotation was disclosed on the casinos' own pages the day it surfaced. But it resets the paperwork behind three well-known lobbies, and it is the clearest specimen yet of how this corner of the industry now migrates.

New operator Saphirix Solutions SRL (Costa Rica, reg. 3-102-933997)
Licence Tobique Gaming Commission no. 0000091 — footer-declared; seal validation in progress
Brands moved KatsuBet · Mirax · 7Bit (16 October 2026)
Previous operator Scores55 Tech B.V. — the three domains removed from its Curaçao certificate
Evidence Two independent first-party records, same day: the regulator's certificate and the casinos' own footers
Pattern precedents Novatrix SRL (Tobique 0000002) · Metlait SRL (Tobique 0000064)
Warning flags None — clean, disclosed rotation; eras preserved
THE DETECTION

A certificate gets shorter

The previous operator's Curaçao licence is the kind we like: its public certificate enumerates the approved domains, one by one. We re-check certificates like that on a schedule, because a licence document is a snapshot — a lesson this section has paid for before. On 16 October 2026 the scheduled re-read came back different: katsubet.com, miraxcasino.com and 7bitcasino.com no longer appeared on the approved list.

A domain leaving a certificate, on its own, is one fact with several possible explanations. So the same day we read the three sites themselves — and found the second fact: an identical new footer block at all three, declaring Saphirix Solutions SRL, a Costa Rica registration number, and licence no. 0000091 from the Tobique Gaming Commission. Two independent record classes — the regulator's document and the operator's own disclosure — changed in step and tell the same story. That is a confirmed migration, not an anomaly, and we closed the three brands' previous-era records with that date.

Worth noting, because we so rarely get to note it: the footers moved with the register. This very week we documented an estate whose footers are two licensing eras stale in the other direction. Here, disclosure kept pace. That is what a rotation done in the open looks like.

THE PATTERN

The playbook, third run

Set the three destination companies side by side. Novatrix SRL, Costa Rica registration 3-102-893958, Tobique licence 0000002. Metlait SRL, registration 3-102-911867, Tobique licence 0000064. Now Saphirix Solutions SRL, registration 3-102-933997, Tobique licence 0000091. Three limited companies in the same ascending registry series, registered under the same San José corporate-address convention, each holding a licence from the same small regulator with a climbing number. We documented the first when the Dama N.V. estate split in two; the second when another estate followed the same route; this is the third iteration of the same move.

Our standing discipline applies with full force: a shared playbook is not shared ownership. Nothing in our files connects these three companies to each other beyond the pattern itself, and we treat them as three separate operators until a register says otherwise. What the pattern does establish is the route — after the Curaçao reform, estates in this orbit migrate out of the old rails and into a fresh Costa Rica corporate shell carrying a Tobique licence. If you want to know where a brand in this part of the market will live next, the answer is on file before the brand moves.

And for at least two of the three brands — including the best-known name among them — our files document the previous hop as well: they arrived on the Scores55 rail in that two-way split of the Dama N.V. estate. This rotation makes it their third operating company in roughly three years. The lobby, the games and the brand go on uninterrupted; the company behind them has become a replaceable part. Which is precisely why every number we publish is pinned to an era.

THE ROSTER

The three brands

Brand Verified 16 October 2026 Note
KatsuBet New footer declaration + removal from the previous certificate, same day Regulator's verification seal present in the footer
Mirax New footer declaration + removal from the previous certificate, same day Identical declaration text — one template, one move
7Bit New footer declaration + removal from the previous certificate, same day Affiliate-program branding unchanged through the move — the commercial layer did not blink

No member of this group carries warning conditions in our files, before or through the rotation. But the per-brand rule cuts in a new direction here: nothing inherits across eras either. Every bonus cap, withdrawal limit and restricted list we documented at these casinos was read under the previous operator; under the new company, each of those numbers is a claim to re-verify, not a fact to carry forward. Our brand pages are being re-read accordingly, and until that pass completes they say so.

The previous operator, for its part, keeps its remaining brands on the old certificate, which also now gives a precise licensing start date for that estate — its own file continues separately.

THE EVIDENCE LADDER

Verified vs declared

Readers of this section know we grade every claim by its source, so here is this file's ladder, stated plainly. Confirmed: the migration itself — two independent first-party record classes, the regulator's certificate and the casinos' own footers, changing together on a documented date. Declared: the new operator's identity and the licence number. Both currently rest on the casinos' own disclosure, because the Tobique Gaming Commission publishes no open register page to look a licence up in. Its verification is seal-based: the regulator's shield in each casino's footer must click through to a validation page naming that operator and that licence for that domain.

That click-through is our next step, domain by domain. When it validates, the licence moves up the ladder to regulator-verified and we will say so here; if it does not, we will say that much louder. Until then, this piece calls the licence what it is — declared — and any reader can run the same one-click check we will: the seal in the footer, nothing else, is the instrument.

THE BOTTOM LINE

What it means for players

If you hold an account at any of these three casinos, the practical reading is short. The lobby is the same; the counterparty is not. Your balance, your verification file and every term you agreed to now sit with a new company in a different jurisdiction, under a different regulator. The terms pages carry revision dates — read them, because a clause you remember from last year was a different company's promise. The same goes for reviews: anything written about these brands before mid-October 2026 describes the previous operator's conduct, including ours, which is why our own records are pinned to eras rather than silently overwritten.

Nothing in our files suggests this rotation was run against players — it was disclosed on the casinos' own pages the day the register changed, which is better practice than most of what we document. But clean is not the same as verified. Click the seal, mind the dates, and let the paper catch up before the next deposit decision leans on last era's numbers.

This time the register and the footer agreed within a day. That is what a clean rotation looks like — and the only way to know it was clean was to have been reading the register all along.

Information accurate at time of research (16 October 2026) — corporate records, licensing data and terms change; we re-verify on a rolling basis. The new operator's licence is currently declared by the casinos themselves and is undergoing validation against the regulator's verification seal; era-specific terms at all three brands are under re-verification.
